Quote Collage

Hey Everyone - Between my 13 wedding scrapbooks for my photobooth business (Ham It Up) I found some time to create this collage for a friend of mine at work.

We were in a class together and we had to come up with our life's mission. Here is hers - it is from a song - not sure of the artist. The frame is a 5x7 so perfect for on her desk or end table at home.

A few closeups:

I used the Creative Charms Kit of the Month for this project. The braided daisies matched the fancy pants paper perfectly. The vintage brad & gradient pearls are not part of the kit but they are Creative Charms as well. Twine is from the Twinery. I printed out the wording on my printer using the font Hallmark.

Here is a look at the entire kit and info on it’s contents:

Pink & Black - 26 Piece Kit of the Month

Each Kit Contains:
  • Pink Groovy Petal Medley - 8 Pieces
  • Pink Braided Daisy Medley - 4 Pieces
  • Pink Sequin Trimmed Butterfly - 2 Pieces
  • Black Sparkled Butterfly - 4 Pieces
  • Black & White Netted Flower - 4 Pieces
  • Black & Silver Dotted Leaf - 4 Pieces
Everything for Only $ 14.99

Big shout out to my online friend that goes by Cricut Critter. She makes me chuckle when she calls me the Queen of Collages. So hoping you are not getting tired of these collages...as I am not getting tired of making them! The Queen is signing off...:)

Punkin Patch Stamps Is Live!

Like to stamp or interested in stamping? Head on over to the new Punkin’ Patch Stamps site. Click the link or click the banner on my sidebar.

Leo & Mary from SVG Cuts have opened up an online store specializing in stamps.

These are not just any stamps...they are well-designed high quality stamps. The typestyles and illustrations are created by professionals. I'm a stickler on fonts and these are just perfect! They have Halloween, Fall & Christmas stamps available and more to come!

Here are a few of my favorites:

I am looking forward to incorporating these into my upcoming projects.

SVG Cuts announced three new DT Members this week:

Welcome Tamara from Happy Life Crafty Wife
Welcome to Thienly from Mod Paperie
& A Warm Welcome to Cely from Creating In Carolina.

I've worked and know these ladies for quite some time and they are just so talented!

Cricutholics Guest Designer

Awhile back Liz over at Cricutholics asked me be a guest designer over on their site. I shared my take out boxes back in late January and now I am back with some Wedding Invitation Collages.

These are so fun to make and everyone that's received one of these just love them. You can customize your wedding invite collages to match the theme and style of the wedding.

This first one has a rustic feel. I grabbed some twigs off my tree outside (thanks Kristin for the idea - she used them on a recent DT Project) and the leaves are from Joanns. The background scallop shape is from SVG Cuts and I cut it on my Cricut. I use foam core to layer the elements - it is inexpensive and adds alot of dimension.

a closeup:

On this one I used the colors of the invite and wedding and worked in the colors of the bouquet. The corners are accented with Creative Charms. Papers are from DCWV. I picked up the flowers are Joanns - K&Company - they matched perfectly!

Thanks for taking a look and stop over to the Cricutholics Site!
Stop back on Wednesday ~ have a Creative Charms Project to share.
