However, the exponential rise in the use of mobile technologies due to the spread of the Internet and increased telecommunication networks offer an opportunity for the transformation of medical education and practice through the deployment of mobile devices as a medium for learning and conveying health care services to the remote and resource-constrained locations of Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). This paper reviewed articles on the affordances of m-learning for distributed medical education in SSA published between 2010-2018. Results from 18 articles identified in the review revealed a slow-paced ascendancy of practice and research in the field; it further exposed competing priorities, infrastructural deficit, and chronic workforce shortages as the bane of m-learning implementation in the subregion. This paper makes recommendations that will enhance the growth of mobile-based distance medical education and practice in SSA.

Productive instructional delivery enhances learner’s creativity and intellectual development through the use of ICT resources. The level of utilization of ICT in the field of information management education is still low; recent studies have shown that many lecturers hardly comprehend the benefit of ICT in the teaching of information professionals. This study examined the state of ICT integration in instructional delivery of part-time postgraduate program in Department of Library and Information Science, ABU-Zaria. Five research questions were formulated to guide the study while, Survey research design was adopted, Structured questionnaire was used to obtain data from nine lecturers selected from the department of library and information science, using Random sampling technique. The study found that ICT when used for Instructional delivery brings about high standard of communication between lecturers and students in understanding themselves, saving time during instructional delivery and leads to quick and faster understanding of the topics taught. It is recommended that lecturers should always deploy and use ICT in instructional delivery as it enhances recall and retention of what has been taught and facilitates the development and training of information professional skills towards greater human resource development.

The developmental level of the learner as an adolescent and his/her role is instrumental to the general growth and development of the society. Delinquency and deviant behaviour among youth is not uncommon as it has extended into institutions of learning especially at the secondary school level. This paper examines the causes, patterns and effects of such behaviours and discover among other things that the causes are numerous and not in any way limited to secondary schools but distributed among other social units such as family, peers etc. Also such behaviour involves both boys and girls which on the whole affect teaching and learning negatively.

The study adopted quasi-experimental, pre-test/post-test, control/experimental group design. Purposive sampling technique was used to select intact classes of 55 female and 115 male students from the JSSII stream of two schools, Government Day Secondary School, Dange, and Government Secondary School, Kware, in Sokoto state; GDSS, Dange, was the experimental group, while GSS, Kware, the control group,Basic Technology Performance Test (BATPET) instrument was used to collect data, while independent t-test on the SPSS package was used to analyse the data obtained, The study revealed no significant difference between CAI and traditional instruction. Furthermore the study showed no significant difference between day school students and boarding school students, These outcomes may be ascribed to some extraneous factors such as students familiarity with computer and cognitive strategies. It is recommended that teachers at all levels must be encouraged and trained to ensure learners acquire the rudiments and skills of reading and writing, for effective teaching and learning with or without technology.

The operations of the sandwich programme overtime has thrown up apparent issues of time constraints and overloaded schedules that has culminated in poor content delivery and coverage. This requires a rethink and Re-strategizing for effective and efficient delivery and coverage in the programme, this paper prescribed Blended Learning Technique as a panacea to these perennial problems considering the fact that Technology has redefined the roles of today’s teacher from been a ‘font of knowledge’ to instructional managers helping to guide students through their individual learning pathways. It posits that blended learning which is a mix of traditional mode of teaching and learning with technology mediated form if adopted could provide the leading edge for effective and efficient content delivery in the sandwich programmes. Furthermore, the paper recommends equipping the resource persons/ teachers with the necessary skills (through training and re-training) required for this change, also the classrooms must be made ‘blended learning friendly’.

The participants in the study were computer science students at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria. The study adopted the quantitative research method using simple descriptive statistics to analyze the data collected. The study shows that PbLT has positive impact on the students' understanding of introductory programming. In addition, the students confirmed that MobileEdu-Puzzle learning application was supportive and easy to use. Nonetheless, the result revealed that information technology infrastructure especially internet connectivity is a major challenge that may hinder the use of mobile learning technologies such as MobileEdu-puzzle. The overall outcome shows that PbLT holds a lot of promise towards enhancing students learning experiences.

From the first rock arrowheads to globe-spanning communication networks, humans have attempted to use technology to improve the length and quality of life. Yet, while technology has produced an enormous number of benefits for mankind, it has been responsible for a number of pernicious effects as well. This paper focused on the benefits and draw backs of Information and Communication Technology with particular emphasis on the most important aspect of human endeavor, education. These relevance and disadvantages were sourced and collated from different authors and educationists perspectives with a view to serving the need for references by diverse interests in ICT. Despite the drawbacks, which are marginal, Technology generally, has improved human living in no small measure, to the extent that the benefits or full potential is yet to be optimized; efforts are still ongoing to effect positive changes day in and day-out 'especially in the field of Educational Technology and most centrally in Instructional Delivery .

The quality and quantity of human resources determine a nation's growth and sustainable development. It is the available manpower resources that mobilize other resources for sociological, political, economic scientific and technological development. The development of any society is, therefore hinged on the development of its manpower resources. Universities in Nigeria like any other part of the world have been established for the purpose of manpower development. The demand for computer/ICT literacy is increasing in Nigeria, because employees realize that computers and other ICT facilities in this technology-driven age can enhance efficiency. On the other hand, employees

The concept of register and its application in computer education is brought to focus. The study also reflected on the concept of Cloud Computing, the services offered by the Cloud Computing Education in Nigeria, and the Register analysis of Cloud Computing Education. It was summed up that the need for Junior Secondary School students to be well grounded in the register of Cloud Computing Education for onward advancement in any field of studies can never be overemphasized. Useful Recommendations were made in this regard.

The presence of these children in most streets in our cities is a cause for grave concern and underscores the need to appraise the impact of the various interventions with a view to improving the success and address the inherent weaknesses of the intervention with technology. This paper suggests innovative solutions to address this problem particularly the integration of Mobile Learning Technologies into the Almajiri Education system to
