Thailand Part 2

Here we go with part deux showing more of the activities we did so basically just Elephant riding which was the highlight of the entire trip let's be real. We also visited a bunch of temples, one of which, the White Temple in Chiang Rai which was amazing- more of an art piece than a temple. It was so super ornate and detailed, not to mention all white, obvi. The inside was very intricately painted with all kinds of imagery including a lot of pop culture references, wouldn't you guess? MJ, Kung Fu Panda, Superman, etc. I've never seen anything like it. Lastly a sunrise Ankor Wat view and no trip is complete without an obligatory handstand pic.

Thailand Part 1

I went on a trip with my family to Thailand, Cambodia, Laos (for an hour or so), and Myanmar (a day trip). I love visiting countries in Asia and I hope to one day cross them all of my list (Seoul is definitely on my wish list for up next). What I loved most about Thailand were all of the colors (obviously). Everything was so vibrant there, the houses, boats, markets, food, and the scenery; so I had a lot of fun taking photos. Here are some of my favorite images.

Tanzania Trip

I took a safari trip with my family to Tanzania! Aside from all of the itchy bug bites and getting stung by a super stealthy bee/wasp it was a good time. I rented a 400mm lens for my Canon t2i camera to use on the trip since the animals won't come super close to you even if you say please. It didn't come with a protective case so I made one: tan nylon with yellow nylon lining, a coral strap, and a teal zipper padded with 1/2" foam all around. Still have no idea what I'll use it for since I returned the lens.

We saw tons of animals and colorful birds. Some animals we saw were impala, warthogs, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, zebras, crocodiles, dik diks, lions, monkeys, a leopard, a rhino, elephants, hyenas, and more! Here are some highlights of the trip photos:
