"The Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes" is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Overview

After completing the "Yunobo of Goron City" Main Quest, Yunobo and Bludo can be found speaking at the center of Goron City. Yunobo recalls that while he was wearing the Weird Mask, the other Zelda told him not to go near the Lizard Lakes.[2] Hearing mention of the Lizard Lakes, Bludo remembers a nursery rhyme about them, which states, "One brother hunts what the other brother hides—two lizards fighting over what's inside."[3]

In his youth, Bludo tried to find the Lizard Lakes hoping to find treasure, but the eruption of Death Mountain forced him to stop.[4] Having been reminded of the Lakes, Bludo wants to continue his search.[5] He believes the most likely place to find them would be halfway up the north side of Death Mountain.[6] He wants to go immediately, but his back pain suddenly flares up before he can do so.[7] After witnessing this conversation, "The Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes" will begin.

The Lizard Lakes are located on the northern side of Death Mountain. One is situated at the base of Lake Darman, while the other is at the base of Death Caldera. Between the two Lakes, Link can come upon the entrance to the Lizard's Burrow. A Stone Chest can be found at the end of the Cave that contains the Vah Rudania Divine Helm. Upon obtaining the Helm, "The Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes" will be completed.
