"Sunken Treasure" is a Side Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Overview

In Lurelin Village, Link will be welcomed by the head of the Village, Rozel.[2] If Link asks him about the ocean, Rozel reveals that there are tales of a treasure located in the water nearby.[3] Though he is interested in finding it for himself, he is too old to do so.[4] Instead, he asks Link to search, as he is younger and stronger.[5]

If Link agrees to help, Rozel will share the hint to the treasure's location, which is at the center of a golden triangle.[6] He also suggests that Link borrow his Raft to aid him.[7] Once he is done speaking, the Side Quest will begin.

Just off the Clarnet Coast, three rocks point out above the water. The treasure is located at the center of the rocks, and it must be pulled up using the Magnesis Basic Rune. There are four Treasure Chests in total, containing a Sapphire, a Thunderblade, and two Topazes. After finding the treasure, Link must return to Rozel to tell him.[8]

Back in Lurelin Village, Rozel will be pleasantly surprised to hear the news.[9] He informs Link that there might be other treasures in the ocean that have not been found yet.[10] With a wish of luck,[11] the Side Quest ends.
