Spryte's Sister is a character appearing in the "Fairies in the Spring" episode of The Legend of Zelda TV series. As her name states, she is the sister of Spryte and daughter of King Oberon, the king of Fairies.[1]

Biography

When Spryte's Sister realizes that the near-completed Royal Water Park is taking water from the Fairy Spring water supply, she begins to create Water Monster to keep their spring from draining.[2] However, Princess Zelda and Link are unaware of the motives behind the water creatures' appearance at the water park, which has scared all of its workers away.[3] When the young heroes accidentally arrive at the Fairy Spring, Zelda notices that the beams creating the monsters are coming from a tree and, upon further investigation, discovers that the monsters were being created by Spryte's Sister. After the Fairy introduces herself, she reveals to the young heroes her reasons for creating the monsters; however, once King Harkinian explains to King Oberon that they will not use the spring's water supply anymore and instead opt for using magic ponds, all is forgiven and Spryte's Sister stops creating the Water Monster so that the construction of the water park can finally be completed.[4]
