18th century Tea Caddies

18th century tea caddies were predominantly made from wood, and there still survive vast numbers of Georgian box-shaped caddies in mahogany, rosewood, satin-wood and other timbers. Even pewter, tortoiseshell, brass, copper and silver were utilised as materials for such receptacles.
