ILLURAMA: Masters of Illusions it's a bullet hell platformer! Inspired by such games like Touhou Project, Dodonpachi, Rabi-Ribi, Megaman and more.
Today we present you with the initial demo, it's a pretty short one, only the first stage, but more will come in the future. We plan on 6 stages of increasing difficulty.

The story in this demo is not final, so when the next demo arrives the dialogs presented here may differ.
CHARACTERS:

- Almendra: -THE HERO-
- He just woke up, and when he left his house found that the town got invaded by magic creatures
He also found out that he can shoot an infinite supply of knifes! Isn't that weird?

Pablo: -THE BARTENDER-- He's a bartender, "a simple one you may have come across at some point" as he says. He used to work at his bar, but something happened and the town now is not suitable for living.
He was at the town the day he came across Almendra, who knows why...
Thanks to his skills with liquids, he's able to create magic potions, which he uses to attack. Some may say he's a chemistrian, but he doesn't like to be labeled as such.

GAMEPLAY:
You have 4 buttons, one for jump, attack, bomb and focus.
- JUMP: Jump it's pretty self-explanatory, by pressing the jump button Almendra will exert a force downwards against the floor which will generate an opposing force that will increase his vertical position relative to the initial jump position, and by the forces of gravity he will be pulled to the center of the earth... Ok I'm getting pretty confused...
- ATTACK: Your primary way of attack is throwing knifes. By throwing knifes you'll dispel threats that come on your way and punish those bosses who don't want you to advance, Who do they think they are?!
Never forget that you can throw knifes upwards and while crouched, pretty useful given the situation.
- BOMB: O The almighty bomb..., it can save you from naughty situations or you can use it for doing great amounts of damage, the choice is yours. But be cautious, you only have a limited amount! Some cool features of the bomb: when used all bullets on screen will become STAR POINTS(Really important if you want to engage in the scoring system), you become invincible for a short amount of time and the bomb itself will shoot a great amount of knifes!. You have the option to choose between two bomb types:
- SPREAD: Will shoot hundreds of knifes in all directions. Recommended for damaging greater quantities of enemies.
- FOCUSED: Will shoot hundreds of knifes in one direction. Recommended for doing a big amount of damage to one enemy.
- FOCUS: By pressing FOCUS Almendra will lower his speed and lock his direction, also his hitbox will be exposed. I recommend you use this move for precise dodging, it's more useful than it may appear at first glance! If you pay attention you'll realize that the hitbox in this game is pretty small compared to Almendra's size, use that to your advantage.
SCORING:
Every enemy you defeat will grant you a certain amount of points, more specifically SILVER POINTS.
Each one will give you an score equivalent to your current CHAIN VALUE * 10.
So for example if you have 1 HIT CHAIN and an enemy gives you 5 SILVER POINTS, defeating the enemy will grant you with 50 of score.
So the best strategy it's to have a huge CHAIN VALUE, I recommend letting the enemies 1 hit away from death so when you kill them have the maximum CHAIN VALUE possible!
Is there another way of increasing the CHAIN VALUE? Yeah! with STAR POINTS.
STAR POINTS don't grant you any score, but they will increase your CHAIN VALUE. Every 2 of them equals 1 HIT.
You can get them by using your bomb, or when you finish a boss phase.
Default Controls:
- Arrow Keys - Move
- Down Key - Crouch
- Shift - Slow Mode and Show Hitbox
- Z - Jump
- X - Shoot Knife
- X + Up Key - Shoot Knife Up
- X + Down Key - Shoot Knife Crouch
- X + Up Key - Shoot Knife Up
- C - Use Bomb
- ESC - Pause Menu
