Extra Instructions (if you're stuck)
All items are divided into two types: non-stackable (whole bread and whole tomato) and stackable (all other items). When you put down or pick up a stackable item, it will stack with the stackable items on the table or in your hand, and in most cases, it is indivisible, except in the following cases:
- The stack contains only sliced raw bread
- The stack contains only tomato slices
- The stack contains only lettuce slices
- The stack contains only raw meat patties
- The stack contains only the top and bottom of the burger
In the above cases, pressing the ↑ or ↓ key will operate on a single piece until the above conditions no longer hold.
Cheese slices can only be placed on things other than cheese slices, and you cannot pick up cheese slices with empty hands. To pick up cheese slices, you need to put the burger on the table, but you don't need to do so for lettuce. The table for lettuce cannot hold any items.
For the grill, you can place multiple raw meat patties at once, and the time required increases accordingly. You can temporarily place anything else on the grill. However, if anything other than raw meat is on the grill when activated, it will immediately burn.
Ramblings
This is my first complete game and almost my first time drawing pixel art. I'm excited to participate in this game jam. Due to academic pressure and time constraints, there are still many things about this work that I am not satisfied with. If you find any bugs or have any suggestions, feel free to tell me!. 20 seconds is too little time but otherwise, it's an adorable game.
