Hi L.tak, I was about to reply to you! :P

Yes, the title is just a name, so I believe that P17 is used for the sovereign entity (as the description says) and P11 for an administrative sub-devision like a US state. So P17 should be used for England to link it to the UK, and P11 to link New York City to the State of New York for example.

However, I'm not sure what to do now with a Dutch province like North Holland. At the moment, P17 (sovereign entity) is used to link it to the Netherlands, but it should arguably link to the Kingdom of the Netherlands since that is the sovereign state. I'm not sure if a property for "constituent country" already exists, which should then link it to the Netherlands. Thayts (talk) 13:38, 18 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

But the Netherlands is also sovereign over North Holland, so maybe the same property (P17) can still be used... It all boils down to how these relations are used in the 'podia's, as here it is "just" a data structure; so maybe best to wait and see how that pans out...
