- @Brya: I agree entirely that Wikidata should not take any position on what is the correct generic placement for a species. So, yes, the only correct statement that should be made is that POWO accepts "Malva acerifolia" as the correct name for this species. If you look at any of the enwiki taxon articles I edit you'll see that I am very keen that they should explicitly state who accepts names. Peter coxhead (talk) 07:20, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
