Conjunto jesuítico la banda En 1716 la orden jesuítica adquirió estas tierras, tras lo cual organizó el estancia que ocupaba el extenso valle de Tafí. Expulsados en 1767, el fundo se subdividió y con el nombre de Potrero del Rincón pasó a manos de tradicionales familias tucumanas. Es Museo Histórico Nacional, cargado de historias, provenientes de los Padres jesuitas y de presencias ilustres que pasaron por la casa como el Presidente Nicolás Avellaneda y los gobernadores Silva, Marco Avellaneda, Agustín Justo de la Vega y José Frías Silva entre otros. El museo consta de piezas de las culturas Tafi y Santa María así como testimonios de los Padres de la compañía, del periodo virreinal y de los últimos propietarios de la estancia.
