Improving Collaboration with the Team

- Participants: Max, Amy
- Summary: Defining the role and responsibilities of the AB, how to coordinate with Team projects and initiatives, how we can best deliver feedback and advice in a timely fashion, where the AB is needed most.
- Goals/Tasks:
- Hold a session with the Team to understand their priorities, interests, and areas they would like our input or collaboration on.
Incubation Transition Guideline
- Lead: Elika
- Participants: Chris, Tantek, Florian
- Summary: Write a document outlining the incubation process and how groups/specifications can transition from community to working group.

Defining 3Is

- Summary: Explore and create consensus on definitions for Interoperable, Independent Implementations to be applied to the recommendations process.

Vision

- Summary: Publish the Vision on the statement track, address open questions and feedback.

Improving Communication Horizontally
- Lead: Elena
- Participants: Max, Igarashi, Naomi
- Summary: Explore ways to improve communication within the community, between regions, between W3C areas of interest, and look at ways to improve events or activities to engage more with our community.
- Goals/Tasks:
- Conduct a communication audit.
- Evaluate how W3C & its various groups communicate to find gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Deliver a report showing what's working and what needs fixing.
- Explore engaging community activities.
- Analyze existing event formats within W3C and related communities to understand what works best and how success is measured.
- Create a set of recommendations with event ideas and tips for engaging audiences.
- Highlight success stories.
- Gather and share achievements from different W3C groups to promote knowledge sharing and inspire collaboration.
- Establish a medium for W3C chapters and groups to exchange success stories and best practices.
- Conduct a communication audit.
AB + TAG Collaboration/Workmode

- Summary: How can we collaborate with the TAG on projects that interest us both, how do we do the work together?
- Goals/Tasks:
AC Forum Facilitation
- Lead: Wendy
- Participants: Max
- Summary: Figure out how to moderate and facilitate discussions and participation in the AC.
- Goals/Tasks:
- Define and find volunteers for role of "AC facilitator"
- Look at ways to improve AC-Forum communication (i.e. explainers, digests of recent messages, summaries)
- Talk to list users about what they want to see from AC-Forum
Reorganizing W3C Documentation
- Lead: Ding Wei
- Participants: Elika, Elena
- Summary: Look at the structure and organization of documents and ways to improve our documentation for membership.
- Goals/Tasks:
Process

- Summary: Deliver the next revision of the Process. Focus areas:

- REC-track simplifications
- Director-free follow ups (i.e., fine tuning the Council, TAG appointments…)
