FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How many cinnamon rolls does this make?

This should make about 6 large cinnamon rolls.

Do I have to let the dough rise?

After making the dough usually you would have a rise time, we do not let it rise after making the dough itself, it just rests for 15 minutes. Ones the rolls are prepared, filled, cut and placed into the pan then we will let them rise for about an hour until they are doubled in size. This helps them conform to the pan.

What yeast do I use?

Make sure that you are using active dry yeast for this recipe, we are having a rise time and they are not baking right away so do not substitute for instant yeast.

Can I use another topping?

If you are not a fan of the cream cheese icing, you can certainly just make a powdered sugar and milk glaze to go over the top as well.

Can I add anything to the center of my cinnamon rolls?

Absolutely, some fun things to add would be chopped nuts, chocolate chips, dried fruit, etc.

Do I have to preheat my air fryer?

Yes, for this recipe we are preheating it just like we would the oven. You will want to preheat your air fryer for at least 5 minutes before to 320 degrees F.

How do I store leftovers?

These can be stored covered or in an airtight container where they will keep at room temperature for 2-3 days or in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. They can also be frozen, they are best frozen before they are baked. You will want make your rolls and cut your dough and then place in the pan that you are using. Wrap it with plastic wrap and then foil and they should keep for up to 3 months. To defrost, remove from the freezer into the refrigerator overnight, then let rise and air fry.
