The following is a list of victory poses of characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In Brawl, one can select a victory pose by holding up, left, or right on the D-pad (or the , , buttons) as the match ends.
- Up: Takes two steps forward while swiping with his claws twice.
- Left: Steps forward, builds up a little and roars.
- Right: Spins around in his shell and comes out grinning.
- Up: Two jump kicks.
- Left: Charges up red energy, similar to one of his Melee poses but with fire added.
- Right: Does three consecutive roundhouse kicks, then poses.
- Up: Spins with his Rocket Barrels, then faces the screen, dancing with his hands on his head and chin.
- Left: Shoots the air with his Peanut Popguns, rolls towards the camera, and shoots at the camera.
- Right: Does a small dance, then holds still in a breakdance-like pose, clapping his feet together.
- Up: Holds his hands above his head and shakes them.
- Left: Does a backflip, then holds up his arms (updated version of his "character chosen" animation in Super Smash Bros.)
- Right: Beats his chest. (Similar to his up taunt).
- Up: Jumps extremely high and lands kneeling. He then looks up at the camera.
- Left: Rapidly kicks and says "Had enough already?" (くたばるのはまだ早いぜ。, Too early to kick the bucket just yet.) Then puts his foot down and crosses his body over to look at the camera.
- If Fox is present after a match, he will instead say "You're off your game, Fox". Or in Japanese: 腕が落ちたな、フォックス。 (Your skills have fallen off, Fox.)
- Right: Crosses arms, turns his head to the side, and says "You aren't worth the trouble". In Japanese: 付き合ってらんねぇな。 (Not worth associating with.)
- Up: Goes into shooting position with his Blaster at 2 different angles, then points it at the screen saying "Mission Complete". In Japanese, he says "作戦完了!" (Operation complete!)
- Left: Flips his Blaster in the holster and says "This is Fox. Returning to base" and puts his hand on his hip. In Japanese, he will say こちらフォックス、これより帰還する。 (This is Fox, returning feedback here.)
- If Falco is present after a match, he will instead say "Better luck next time, Falco". In Japanese, he says "まだまだだな、ファルコ。" (Not just yet, Falco.)
- Right: Flips his tail up and looks to the side with a smug (prideful) expression on his face with his arms crossed, akin to his character selection animation in Smash 64.
- Up: With his back facing the camera, Ganondorf turns to face the camera, and holds up his fist, the back of it facing the viewer (similar to how he displays his Triforce piece).
- Left: Pumps a victorious fist and crouches.
- Right: While crossing his arms, he laughs, then looks down at the camera.
- Up: Both nod and high five one another.
- Left: Both jump up and down (their victory pose from Ice Climber).
- Right: Nana hides behind Popo, only showing her face as Popo shifts from left to right.
- Up: Forcefully plants his sword into the ground, folds his arms, and says, "You'll get no sympathy from me!"
- Left: Slashes his sword twice and says, "I fight for my friends!"
- Right: Performs Aether while facing the screen.
- Up: Jumps up two times, then does an aerial flip.
- Left: Attempts to bounce up, but ends up on its back.
- Right: Rests, then wakes up for a split second before resting again.
- Up: Pats his belly while a Waddle Dee stands in front of him.
- Left: Slams his hammer down on his left side, does the same with his right, and shows a happy face.
- Right: Spins his hammer with an angry face, and when he stops, he shows a happy face.
Note: All of Kirby's animations are variations of the Kirby dance.
- Up: Does some flips, wiggles with his back towards the camera, then holds his hand up.
- Left: Skids to each side, then holds his hand up.
- Right: Spins, then holds his hand up.
- Up: Horizontal swipe with his sword, then holds it up, giving off a battle cry.
- Left: Three swipes with his sword, then turns to his left. (His "character chosen" animation in Super Smash Bros.)
- Right: Gives two swipes of his sword, then sheaths it (his victory taunt from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess).
- Up: Says "The aura is mine" and slowly clasps two of its paws together.
- Left: Says "Behold the aura" and does a crane-like stance.
- Right: Faces to the right with its palm out in front of it and growls.
- Up: With his back towards the screen, crouching, Lucas does something on the ground with a large stick before turning his head around towards the screen, saying "Hmm?".
- Left: He forcefully pulls one of the Seven Needles from Mother 3, before the Needle flies off-screen with a trail of sparkles while Lucas looks towards the screen. This is very similar to his Up Smash.
- Right: He bends down on one knee and shoots hexagonal PK shocks from his fingers in the air in front of him.
- Up: Turns around and makes gun motions with his fingers, saying "Bang, bang."
- Left: Falls to the ground twice, stiff as a board. His nose twitches occasionally. Similar to his side taunt.
- Right: Childishly swings his arms at the air (like his dash attack, but he stands still) and gasps twice with exhaustion. (This is a reference to what he did when chosen in Super Smash Bros.)
Note: Mario performs the strong-man pose alongside Sonic in the "Sonic Joins The Brawl" video, despite it not being one of Mario's taunts.
- Up: Makes fire explode from his palm and strikes a pose.
- Left: Winds up for a punch and steps forward while punching in front of the screen. (Similar to his smash attack in Super Smash Bros.)
- Right: Does a short spin-jump and lands in a strong-man pose. (His "character chosen" animation in Super Smash Bros.)
- Up: Sheaths his sword and says "今日も生き延びることが出来た。", which translates to: "Today I have risen to survive."
- Left: Turns with pride, spins his sword, then clashes it to the ground and says "今回は僕の勝ちだね?", which translates to: "This time it's my victory isn't it?"
- Right: Poses with the sword in his sheath, stretches out his right arm and says "僕は負ける訳には行かないんだ!", which translates to: "There's no way for me to lose!"
- Up: Flings out his cape and says "You have much yet to learn".
- Left: Disappears while saying, "Come back when you can put up a fight!"
- Right: Turns and spins his sword while saying "Victory... is my destiny", then hits it against the ground.
- Up: Takes 3 steps to the right, then to the left, then wobbles on one foot.
- Left: Rings his bell to the right, then to the left, then faces the right.
- Right: Jumps up and down in the air.
- Up: He jumps up and down twice, swinging his arms, before quickly nodding twice towards the screen with arms akimbo.
- Left: He looks to his sides quickly before facing the screen, putting his hand on the back of his head. (His animation when chosen in Super Smash Bros.)
- Right: He swings his bat many times before holding the bat with his right hand, outstretched and pointing diagonally upwards.
- Up: Olimar plucks various Pikmin, and each jump on him before hitting the ground, until a Purple Pikmin lands on top of him, knocking him over.
- Left: Moves his hands up and down while facing a red Pikmin and a yellow Pikmin. References an animation in Pikmin where Olimar celebrates his S.S. Dolphin being repaired.
- Right: Moves his head left and right while three Pikmin run around him in a circle. References the feature of Pikmin games where the player can command the Pikmin around the leader in a circle with the C-Stick.
- Up: Turns to her right and says "This is fun!" while holding her hands together. This also resembles her stained glass portrait pose on her castle.
- Left: Spins and waves to the screen, saying "Oh, did I win?"
- Right: Swings her arm out and puts it behind her, saying "Peachy!"
- Up: Its ears perk, and it scratches its right ear.
- Left: Backflip, spins on the ground, and says "Pii!" (Its "character chosen" animation in Super Smash Bros.)
- Right: Lies sideways on the ground, sleeping.
- Up: Bows with the bow in front of his face, then stands up and lifts his bow, saying "Great Palutena, victory is ours!"
- Left: Slashes with his swords and says "You can't defeat me!"
- Right: Slowly spins his bow in front of himself, then stops in the same pose as his official art, saying "Too easy."
- Up: Roars up to the sky while flapping its wings.
- Left: Stomps the ground and fires a fireball into the sky.
- Right: Pokémon Trainer pets its head and hugs its neck.
- The Pokémon Trainer says "You did it, Charizard!" in all three poses.
- Up: Jumps and lands on its belly.
- Left: Stands in a battle-ready pose.
- Right: Pokémon Trainer pets it, and Ivysaur jumps on him, but Pokémon Trainer puts it down and continues to pet him.
- The Pokémon Trainer says "Way to go, Ivysaur!" in all three poses.
- Up: Squirts water in three directions, does a backflip, then poses.
- Left: Does some poses, spins around doing a breakdance move, and ends on its bottom scratching its head.
- Right: Pokémon Trainer kneels down and hugs Squirtle, who says "Squirtle Squirtle".
- The Pokémon Trainer says "Good job, Squirtle!" in all three poses.
- Up: Spins around up a slight inch in the air, then lands, then puts his arms down and brings them back up again while turning his head.
- Left: Spins his arms and moves them in a strongman pose while turning his head.
- Right: Shoots sparks from his eyes, then flexes his upper body, like his side taunt.
- Up: Shoots multiple shots while kneeling, and finishes with a pose.
- Left: Side kick flexes and readies her Arm Cannon.
- Right: Punches twice, then fires from her Arm Cannon.
- Up: Slashes towards the screen twice, then holds her right hand up to her mouth.
- Left: Looks off into the distance, pondering, while keeping her mouth concealed.
- Right: Kicks twice then holds her left hand in front of her while exhaling loudly.
- Up: Seen in a crouching position from the side, saying "Colonel, mission accomplished." into his codec.
- Left: Throws off his cardboard box and stands up, saying "Not even close!"
- Right: Crawls forward a step and rolls into a crouching position, saying into his codec "This is Snake. I'm done here."
- Up: He spins once and poses while holding the blue Chaos Emerald in his hand, and says "Too easy! Piece of cake!"
- Left: Runs off the screen, screeches back, and gives a thumbs up, and says "Sonic's the name, speed's my game!" This same victory taunt was used in the "Sonic Joins The Brawl" movie.
- Right: He break-dances and then does a pose with his fist, and says "Hey, we should do this again sometime!"
- Up: He catches a pig and holds it above his head.
- Left: He waves the Wind Waker baton. This pose is extremely similar to his Up Taunt.
- Right: He tries to catch a pig, but ends up tripping and falling on his bottom.
- Up: He does a donut on his bike and makes a "W" sign with his hand and pulls with his mustache with his other hand while saying "Yes!"
- Left: Pats his belly, then farts, sniffs his behind, and scratches his head saying "Ooo".
- Right: He laughs gloatingly and then falls over.
- Up: Claws the air twice, pauses and kicks while saying "I will be the one to take you down." (貴様を倒すのはこの俺様だ!, You will be defeated by the very me!)
- Left: Leans forward and snarls, then stands up straight, crosses his arms, and laughs.
- If Fox is present after a match, he will instead say "Playtime's over, Star Fox!" In Japanese: 遊びは終わりだ、スターフォックス!
- Right: Faces away from the screen, raises an arm, then turns to face the screen while saying "Weaklings, the bunch of you!" (ふんっ、弱者どもめ, Hmph, such weak ones.)
- Up: Punches the air, then makes a "ta-da" pose. (His "character chosen" animation in Super Smash Bros.)
- Left: Looks up at the sky with his hands together, spins once, and gives a V sign with his hand.
- Right: Angrily, he punches a few times, and then turns his back on the screen facing right.
- Up: Turns her head to the left, making a stance.
- Left: Praying, she turns her head upward, similar to her taunt from Melee.
- Right: Conjures bright red magical energy.
- Up: Backflips to the screen.
- Left: Slashes with her energy whip and says "Be still."
- Right: Side kick flex.
