Procurement Practices in The Local and Multinational Pharmaceuticals
Procurement Practices in The Local and Multinational Pharmaceuticals
Procurement Practices in The Local and Multinational Pharmaceuticals
Introduction
Procurement is the method to come by the material to construct goods. It is favorable that the goods/services are appropriate and that they are procured at the best possible cost to meet the needs of the purchaser in terms of quality and quantity, time
Problem Statement
Many studies have been conducted in order to determine the procurement practices in the pharmaceutical sector. The past studies revealed that the companies do purchasing with slow communication process and the company emphasis on the purchasing price not on the quality. In Pakistan with best of my knowledge no such study is conducted to identify the best practices in pharmaceuticals, so the current study is attempt to fulfill the best practices via increase communications and to focus on long-term relationships rather than on a single transaction base.
Objective
To compare the local and multinational pharmaceuticals procurement practices, and to know their current procedures and practices on which these two sectors are working.
