What is asexual reproduction?

Plants such as Irish

potato reproduce without gamete [ special reproductive cells.] This is called asexual reproduction. Irish potato produce swollen underground stems call tubers. Each tuber produce a new plant.

3 Days Later
Potato starting to grow.
New tubers are coming out.

Tubers grow from top of

potato slowly. Sprouts develop from eyes.

Other way to allow potato tubers to spring out.

Potatoes are so easy

to grow that they can even grow on kitchen counters.
