A Bluetooth chat application enables
users to communicate via Bluetooth without relying on internet services. Users can chat even when there’s no Wi-Fi or cellular data available. The app connects two Bluetooth- compatible Android devices within a range of approximately 50 feet. BACKGROUND HISTORY / LITERATURE REVIEW
Bluetooth technology was first introduced in 1999 and has
since evolved significantly, providing a robust framework for short-range wireless communication.
Various studies have explored the use of Bluetooth for
messaging applications, highlighting the potential for secure and offline communication, particularly in scenarios where network access is limited. FLOW CHART WORKING The operation of Bluetooth chat application have been divided in to five stages: -
1. Bluetooth Permissions
2. Set up the Bluetooth
3. Finding the devices
4. Connection
5. Data transfer Dependencies / Show Stoppers
1. Bluetooth Range Limitations: The app’s functionality is
limited to the effective range of Bluetooth communication.
2. Device Compatibility: Ensuring the app works seamlessly
across different devices can be challenging.
3. Battery Usage: Continuous use of Bluetooth may drain
