The COVID-19 pandemic that started two


years ago resulted in an abrupt shift in the
mode of instruction in schools. Since people
had to be confined in their homes to follow
strict isolation measures, educational
institutions resorted to online learning. This
method eliminated the human connection that
face-to-face teaching setup offers. Also, this
approach may have caused learners to feel
isolated during their learning process,
increasing their chances of experiencing
stress, frustration, and anxiety. Learners may
have even gone through questioning their
