Present Simple: to talk about routines/habits /facts.
FOR YES/NO QUESTIONS:

Short answers. Positive answers / Negative answers


EX: Yes, I do. ---- No,I don`t.
Ex: Yes, he/she/it does. ---- No, he/she/ it doesn`t.

Long answers. Positive answers / Negative answers.


EX: Yes, I play tennis. ----- No i don´t play tennis
Ex: Yes, she/he/ it plays tennis. -----No, he/she/it doesn´t play tennis.

Rules of the Verb with third person (he,she,it) Only in
Positive sentences or answers. (without auxiliary)
 If the verb ends with consonant + Y (delete –y-) (add –
ies)
Ex:study = studies
 if the verb ends with ch-ss-sh-x-zz-o (Add –es- )
Ex: watch-watches wash – washes kiss- kisses
Buzz- buzzes go- goes
 verbs ending in –e-, just add –s- ex: agree-agrees.
Forgive- forgives.
 when the verb is have changes to has.
 the rest of the verb ADD –S- Ex: play – plays
Want – wants visit- visits drink – drinks.
