Fabric construction methods include weaving, knitting, felting, lacemaking, and bonding.
Since the way a fabric is constructed determines how it looks, handles, and behaves, it is
important to be able to recognize and tell the difference between common fabric
construction methods.
Staple fibres make spun yarn and filament fibres make filament yarns. Process of
making yarn from fibres is called spinning. i) For making yarn from staple fibres –
A bundle of fibres is taken, cleaned and straightened. After this they are pulled
out and drawn and a twist is given to hold them together.

Record results: Record the elongation percentage and any other relevant data
for future reference.
