    MDAS - refers to the order in which you should follow
    when carrying out a series of operations.

    - It stands for MULTIPLICATION, DIVISION,


    ADDITION, and SUBTRACTION.

    Order of operations tells you to perform multiplication and


    division first, working from left to right, before doing
    addition and subtraction.

    Rules in the Order of Operation:

    1. Perform the operations within each pair of grouping symbols


    (parenthesis, brackets and braces) beginning with the innermost pair.

    2. Simplify the expression with exponents, if any.

    3. Perform multiplication and division as they occur from left to


    right.

    4. Perform addition and subtraction as they


    occur from left to right.
