you know What do you think are the differences between a myth, a folktale and a fairytale? What are myths? Myths are ancient stories about the early history of a people and their explanations of some natural or social phenomenon that typically involve supernatural beings and events. What purposes do myths serve? Then Now? 1. To explain how things came Myths are as relevant to us today to be as they were to the ancients. 2. To teach lessons or values Myths answer timeless questions and serve as a compass to each 3. To unify a group or define a generation.
