waterways were a big part of
making it work.
They also introduced using

Marshall plan was program sponsored by


the US which was designed to rehabilitate
the economics of 17 european countries in
order to create stable conditions in which
democratic institutions could survive after
the war.It was also called the European
Recovery program.
It was enacted in 1948 and provided more
