    Food and water
    • To get water the ancient Egyptians built the Nile river , the longest
    river in the world. To get food all the people started growing crops,
    plants, trees etc. These people were called farmers.
    Civilization
    • The Egyptian civilization was the longest civilization in the world.
    • The Egyptian civilization lasted for more than 3000 BC.
    Societal class
    • The Egyptian “pyramid” had slaves at bottom and the pharaoh at the
    top
    Pharaoh
    • The pharaoh thought that he was a living god, but he(or she)was
    mortal.
    • The pharaoh then thought that he was god’s representative.
    • But to the ancient Egyptians they were just kings, head priest of
    temples and a ruler.
    Fun facts
    • Egypt is also called the “gift of Nile”.
    • If the Nile river was not built then Egypt wouldn’t
    have existed.

    The pyramids
    • Egypt is famous for the building of pyramids.
    • The ancient Egyptians used to bury the bodies of dead pharaohs
    in pyramids and also buried his/her treasure and belongings to
    keep them happy afterlife.
    • To keep the treasure safe they made fake burial chambers to fool
    robbers.
    The temples
    The ancient Egyptians believed that temples were gods and goddesses
    homes.
    And of course we also believe it now.
    Most temples have statues of pharaohs.

    Ancient Egyptians first used to write with drawings.
    Each drawing meant something like, for arm it was strong and leg for
    walking.
