+ In the business of the Cuban restaurant in the city of Miami, different market strategies were used: for

example, promotional cards were created with business information and distributed to the people who were
passing by on the outskirts of the restaurant, even a personal contract was made to distribute these cards on
the outskirts of popular markets such as Walmart, also in the vicinity of the shopper centers of the area and
the strategy was taken that people who arrived with that card would be given a 20% discount when paying
the bill at the restaurant. Food was also given on the outskirts of public schools and food was provided to the
most needed people on the streets, which caught the attention of many of the current customers of the
restaurant. Advertising was paid and the name of the restaurant was on several gas station windows, it was
also announced on the local radio and the newspaper. An Instagram and Facebook page was created that
shared all the information, the food of the place was also photographed, videos of how some foods and
drinks were made were made, people with a high number of followers known as (influencer) were also
contacted to go to the place and promote it on their networks, letting their followers know how their culinary
experience had been. It was also of vital importance and as a market strategy to create an authentic Cuban
experience, therefore the decoration was key to that and was decorated in the style of how Havana looked in
the 1960s. Cuban themed events were organized and pullovers and caps were given away with the name and
logo of the restaurant, they could also be customized and marked the name of the guests of the event and
loyal customers; graffiti artists were hired to do this and give it a touch of originality. When the restaurant
opened, offers were given for home delivery and takeaway food to take advantage of the current trend of
convenience. A site was also created on the Internet where people could leave their review and thus received
comments and the restaurant was promoted. Adopting these strategies to the specific location of the
restaurant were key to success.
