1911 6,747,122 +1.07%
the 2011 Indian census, Jharkhand has a
population of 32.96 million, consisting of 1921 6,767,770 +0.03%
16.93 million males and 16.03 million 1931 7,908,737 +1.57%
females.The Sex ratio1947 females to 1,000

males. The literacy rate of the state was

Demographics details of Telangana
Telangana state is the 12th most populous state in
India, with a population of 35,003,674 as per
2011 Census, with a population density of 312 per
km2. The state has male and female population of
17,611,633 and 17,392,041 respectively with
sex ratio (Females per 1000 Males) standing at 988.
Decadal Growth Rate (2001-2011) Rate is 13.58%.
Telangana is the youngest and the newest formed
state in India. Its capital is Hyderabad. Telangana is
home to various renowned personalities in various
fields of life. These personalities have not only
achieved significant success in their fields but have
also impacted the current generation. Telangana
was always known for its people in various walks of
life, be it politics, sports, entertainment, or culture

Natural resources of Jharkhand - Jharkhand is famous for its rich mineral resources like
Uranium, Mica, Bauxite, Granite, Gold, Silver, Graphite, Magnetite, Dolomite, Fireclay,
Quartz, Fieldspar, Coal (32% of India), Iron, Copper (25%of India) etc. Forests and woodlands
occupy more than 29% of the state which is amongst the highest in India. The deposits of Coal,
Iron ore, Bauxite, Uranium, Limestone, Dolomite, Pyroxenite , Quartz and Quartzite available
in sufficient quantity. The deposits of China Clay, Fireclay, Magnetite, Graphite, Kyanite,
Feldspar, Mica & Decorative Stones are available in plenty some examples of natural resources
are shown above
Natural resources of Telangana -: Telangana
region has rich natural resources. About 45
per cent of the forest area in Andhra Pradesh
state is in Telangana region while 20 per cent
of the country's coal deposits in the country
are also found here.The Singareni Collieries
Company Limited excavates coal from these
mines for industrial needs and thermal power
stations.Telangana is also rich in limestone
deposits that cater to cement factories.
Telangana has other mineral resources like
bauxite and mica.

of festivals and fairs celebrated all through the year. Let's
have a look at some festivals celebrated in Jharkhand.

Wildlife sanctuary of Jharkhand and
Telangana
wildlife of Jharkhand
Jharkhand , the land of forests widely known for the dense
evergreen forest and Fauna which dwells in the mystical land.
The tradition of co-existing with the wildlife without causing any
damage to their natural habitat is the paramount characteristic of
the people of Jharkhand. The State with geographical area of
79,714 Sq. Km. constitutes 02.42 % of the Country’s area. Total
recorded forest area of the state is 23,605 Sq. Km. which is
26.61% of geographical area of state. Out of the total recorded
forest area 23,605 Sq. Km, Reserve Forests constitute
18.58% (4,385.80Sq.Km.),Protected Forests 81.28%
(19,186.15Sq. Km) and Un classed forests 0.14% (33.05 Sq.
Km). there are total of 12 forest reserves in Jharkhand, one National Park and
eleven Wildlife Sanctuaries named as
