I know your deeds, that you are neither

You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired
wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. Revelation 3:15-19 Consider the Church in Laodicea I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Revelation 3:15-19 For churches to grow, they must look beyond their evangelistic efforts. MORTALITY RATES OF THE NEW CONVERTS! CONGREGATION PREPAREDNESS TO ASSIMILATE AND NURTURE NEW CONVERTS. 1 Corinthians 14:25 (KJV) And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth. COURTESY, WARMTH & INTEREST IN SPIRITUAL MATTERS 1 Corinthians 11:17 (KJV) In the following directives I have no praise for you, for your meetings do more harm than good. OUR PURPOSE BEING A CHURCH •WORSHIP •FELLOWSHIP •LEARNING •SERVICE •MISSION DEPENDS Hebrews 10:24-25(KJV) And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us that the Day of the Lord is drawing near. This means that we should not take our time for granted. We should make the most of every opportunity to grow in our faith and to serve others. And we should do all of this together, as a community of believers. We should be actively encouraging each other to grow in our love for God and for others. We should make it a priority to attend church services and other gatherings of believers. a) Those who lead will take their TASK SERIOUSLY • Coming prepared to serve their role. • Doing so gladly and with enthusiasm. b) Every MEMBER will do what they can to make our assemblies edifying to all Your te A NEW MEMBER WILL DESIRE TO GROW AND NURTURE TO BE FAITHFUL TO THE CHURCH! Requires special attention and nurturing. 1. New converts often bring PROBLEMS with them 2. NEED concern and cares of interested mature Christians
3. Otherwise, they may soon
wither away. What does it take for a CONGREGATION to provide such things? VISION STATEMENT A FAMILY of FAITHFUL and CARING and DEDICATED congregations and ministries sharing the Gospel that transforms lives and families for God’s Glory.
