Japan Robot Receptionist
•Basically, robot is a machine. But what makes it special is that robot is a programmable machine by computer to
do a series of action which is used for some purpose. The idea of creating robot is to help human to make easy
life. Even though, there are still some debates about the existence of some robot in which it is considered as
something bad such as soldier robot. Perhaps this case is easy to be understood by watching Robocop movie in
which robot has no heart, moral, desire and perspective to understand human as the way human does.
•Nowdays, the kinds and specification of robots are various. There are robots for war, robot to work, robot to
secure, and robot that are created as receptionists. Robot can do this easily because robot only needs one
energy sources such as atomic battery. Robot is the most important modern technology creature after machine
and computer to help human get better life.
•One of shopisticated technology is receptionist robot that work as a receptionist. She can smile, she can sing and
and this robot receptionist who work in Tokyo never gets bored of welcoming customers to her upmarket shop.

What is the Factual Report Text?
Report is a text which presents information
about something, as it is. It is as a result of
systematic observation and anlysis.
PURPOSE
The purpose of a report is to describe and clasify
information. Reports have a logical sequence
of facts that are stated without any personal
involvement from the writer
STUCTURE
Report is usually consist of the following:
an opening statement ( Possums are nocturnal
animals that were introduced to New Zealand from )
a series of facts about various aspects of the
subject eg where possums live, what they eat,
problems they cause.
Diagrams, photographs, illustration and maps may
be used to enchance the text
Reports do not usually have an “ending”.
LANGUAGE FEATURES
• Nouns and noun phrases are used rather than
personal pronouns
• Most reports are written in the present tense
• Use technical or scienticfic terms
• Lingking verbs are used, eg : are, have, has,
belong to,
• Uses some action verb (climb, eat)
• Use descriptive language
