interpret, and process transactional data.
• Master Data is integrated from an external system to SAP ATTP.

SAP WAREHOUSE & MANAGEMENT(WM): It was a ERP department which gives the master data to the
ATTP department
MASTER DATA : Typically, master data is maintained in an external system and is then integrated
with SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals system. However, this solution also allows you to
locally maintain the master data objects.
There are 4main master data
1. Business partner
2.Location
3.Trade item
4. Systems
TRANSACTIONAL DATA: The transactional data integration handles the integration of business
transaction documents such as production order, purchase order, process order, inbound delivery, outbound
delivery and return delivery and furthermore it handles the integration of the batch from SAP ECC to SAP
Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals.

2.SAP ATTP:SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals (SAP ATTP) is an innovative
serial number management solution built for pharmaceutical companies to label and track products
with serial numbers.

 Serialization: Is the process of Creating, Allocating and Assigning a
unique identification number to finished products at multiple
levels/hierarchy
1. serial number is the unique number of the product
2. serial number makes impossible to make the product fake
3. Based on the serial number we can easily track the product
SAP ATTP:
Track and Trace: Track and trace systems enable authorities and those working within the supply
chain to identify where specific medicines are. This includes a drug’s current and previous locations
1.Tracking: “Tracking” means monitoring forward movement of finished goods through the supply
chain and ensuring that all taxes and duties have been paid and volumes verified
2.Tracing:“Tracing” means working backwards through the supply chain to establish where any
genuine product was diverted out of the supply chain
 This track and trace based on the Serialization which is created by ATTP’S

GTIN:(GLOBAL TRADE ITEM
NUMBER)
• The GTIN is the globally unique GS1 identification number to identify
trade items and one of the main building block of the GS1 system.
• GTIN are assigned by the brand owner of the product and are used to
identify product as they move through the global supply chain
• It is a 14 digit number with 4 segments

SGTIN:(SERIALIZED GLOBAL TRADE ITEM NUMBER)
• The combination of the GTIN and a unique serial number is used to
identify a specific instance of a trade item.
• It has 5-segments

• The Global Location Number is globally unique GS1 Identification

a 13 number 3 segment
