Steps to Edit & Create Your Account
• If you are new to IHI, go to www.ihi.org and register for a free account. Be sure
to complete all the fields.
• If you already have an account and want to update the information associated
with your account, please log into that account, and go to “My IHI”. There, you
will be able to edit information including your email address, address, or
organization by clicking on the pencil icon in the appropriate section.
E.g., to update your organization, you can click on the pencil icon where you
see your name in blue text.
How can I enter my access code in my
IHI portal?
• Go to education.ihi.org where you should already be logged in.

• Click “Browse Catalog”


• On the top of the page there will be a spot to enter the following access
code: 54035

Once you see a green bar on the top of the screen acknowledging your
successful input of a valid code, all the open school courses available to
you will say “enroll.”
Note: Please input your access code before attempting to enroll in a
course. If you enroll in a course (such as a free sample course) before
entering the access code, that course will not appear on your
organization's reports. 
• After enrolling in a course, return to your Learning Center and click "launch"
to begin the course.

How do I claim my CEU
credits?
• Visit the IHI Education Platform (www.education.ihi.org)

• Sign in with your MyIHI username and password.


• From the homepage, select Go to your Learning Center
• Once you complete all program activities, your program will appear under
the Completed tab of your Learning Center.
• Click Claim Credits
• Check the box next to the credit type that you would like to claim, please
only claim the credit type you need.  Claiming multiple credit types may
cause a longer delay in the certificate populating.  If you are a student,
unless you have been instructed otherwise, please claim General
Attendance. Click Submit. A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm your
selection. Note: once you click Submit, your selection is final. You can add
an additional credit type, but you cannot undo the previously selected
option(s).
• You will return to your Learning Center

• To find your printable Certificate, visit your Certificate Center (


www.ihi.org/certificatecenter)

• Click the link in the Credit Type column to generate your certificate. NOTE: It can


take up to 24 hours for your certificate to populate.
• On the following screen, click the button just above your certificate to
download a PDF of your certificate.
Remember to claim your credits as soon
as possible after you complete a course,
as there is a limited time that you can
claim credits.
If you have completed courses from January 1, 2017 onwards,
and credits were claimed, those credits will appear under
the Credits tab of your IHI portal (
www.app.ihi.org/certificatecenter)
