    Introduction

     Machu Picchu is one of the 7


    wonders of the modern world, it
    was built before the fifteenth
    century by an ancient Andean
    Inca town. Machu Picchu is
    located in the department of
    Cuzco in southern Peru at 2,430
    meters above sea level.
    Meaning

     The name Machu picchu in the Quechua


    language, machu means "old" while picchu
    means "mountain"; therefore, the name of
    the site means "old mountain".
    Location

     Machu Picchu is located in the Cusco


    region, on the Sacred Valley of the
    Incas, 80 km northwest of the City of
    Cusco, Peru.
    Main structures

     Machu Picchu is considered, at


    the same time, a masterpiece of
    architecture and engineering.
    Machu picchu has 3 main
    structures: The Intihuatana, The
    Temple of the Sun and The Room
    of the Three Windows.
    How to go to Machu Picchu?

     The way to access Machu Picchu is


    somewhat complicated because it is
    located in a mountainous area with
    difficult access, for which a railway was
    built to reach a road that accesses Machu
    Picchu, the cost of transportation is around
    222 to 229 soles.
    Personal opinion

     I think that Machu Picchu is an impressive


    construction and that it contains a lot of history in
    addition to helping us understand and study how
    our ancestors, the Incas, were.
    Conclusion

     In conclusion Machu Picchu is a


    great tourist place with impressive
    buildings and a lot of history about
    the Incas, it is also one of the 7
    wonders of the world.
