 Pakistan’s geo strategic consequence makes it the most
critical location of the country
 It has a position to provide a bridge between the West and

Central Asia also West and the Muslim world


 Between China and USA the opportunities accruing from the

changed international scenario


 if we assessed realistically benefit from end to end by

suitable policies
 Pakistan’s foreign policy has seen many ups and down

internal, external and economic scales of threat to national


security
 for example against the traditional specific indicator

approach
 on the other hand Pakistan’s pro-Taliban foreign policy was

already being questioned by our friends including Turkey,


Iran, Russia, and even our strategic ally China

 Pakistan’s geo strategic importance makes it a vital united
state between the West and Central Asia
 Pakistan’s geo strategic importance makes it a vital state

China
 Pakistan has an exceptional individuality of being bordered

by three major states, Russia, China and India


 Customarily, Pakistan has a shared noise with Afghanistan

and Iran
 Our region offers a terrestrial passage to any world power

to the warm waters of the Arabian Sea and the Indian


Ocean
 Passages of Hormuz, which is the “International Oil

revival of the USA’s interests in the region

 If this similarity is taken as true then an unstable Pakistan is

history

Pakistan’s location:
 Pakistan is the Western part of South Asia

Total Area:
 Total area of Pakistan is 796096 sq. km.

 Its length East to West is about 1600 km and north to

south about 885 km broad


Pakistan’s boundaries:
India is to the South East side of Pakistan
 Iran is situated to the west side of Pakistan

 Afghanistan is situated to the North west side of

Pakistan
 China is situated to the south East side of Pakistan 

 Arabian sea is situated to the west side of Pakistan

 Pakistan separated from Tajikistan by a narrow
strip called “WAKHAN” its width is 20 to 80 miles
5-Pakistan’s Borders:
 Pakistan shared its border with India, 2252 km that

is long common border of Indo Pakistan, but


border of Kashmir is not included in this length
 Pakistan and Afghanistan’s territory called (Durand

Line) that line was demarcated in 1893 by Birtish


 Pakistan’s border with China is 585 km long
 Pakistan’s border with Iran is 805 km long
 The coastal area of Pakistan with the Arabian Sea is

about 700 km long

 The population of Pakistan is more than 220 million

 Our population is increasing day by day very fatly the

growth can hinder our development


(A) Numbers of population:
 The Numbers (quantitative (calculable) aspects of

population includes statistics of total population,


density of population, birth and death rates and
migration rate
(B) Qualitative population:
 The qualitative aspects refer to the ability and

capability of the population

a) Total population: that is more then 220 million
b) Nationality: Our nationality is Pakistani
c) Ethnic groups: There are several Ethnic groups like
Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashtun, Bloch, Mohair (Urdu
speaking) etc
d) Religions: Total Muslim population is 97%, Sunni
Muslims are 80% (Shia’s 17%), Christians, Hindus and
other none Muslims are are 3% of ours population
Languages: Punjabi speaking are 48%, Sindhi speaking
are 14.57%, Saraiki speaking are 10 %; Pashtu
speaking are12% and Urdu speaking are 8%
(Ours National Language is Urdu, can speak and under
stand) 100% people, Blochi 3% people, Hindko 2%
people, Brahvi 1% people, English (generally used in
offices) and others 8% people

f) Literacy rate: More then 60% people can read and
write
g) Total Literate people: Total literate population is
more than 48.7%
h) Male: Male population of Pakistan is 42.7%
Female: Female population of Pakistan (according to
2017 senses) is about 57.3%
Provinces of Pakistan:
 PUNJAB: Punjab is the most populous province

 Its density of population is 333.5 persons per sq. Km

 Punjab is the most populous province of Pakistan

with approximately 56% total Population of Pakistan


 Lahore has traditionally been the capital city of

Punjab since thousand years ago

administrative and economic center of Pakistan
 The main ethnic group is Punjabi

 KPK: In Khyber Pakhton khowa density of

population is 253.6 person lives at per sq. Km.


 It was previously known as the (NWFP) North-West

Frontier Province
 The main ethnic group in the province is the

Pashtuns
 The principal language of KPK. is Pashto, Mostly it

belong to Tribal system


 It is most beautiful province, fame of this province

is its beauty that is internationally known

 In province Sindh density of population is 212.8

person live at per sq. Km.


 Geographically it is the third large province of

Pakistan
 It is hot in the summer season and mild in winter

season
 Sindhi is the sole official language of this province

 Karachi is the largest city of Pakistan, two seaports

and as well as the capital of the province of Sindh


 It was first and the original capital city of Pakistan

until 1960, after construction of Islamabad city


that became new capital city of Pakistan

BALUCHISTAN:
Baluchistan has the least population area where density

of population is only 18.8 persons live in one sq. Km.


Baluchistan is the largest province (by area) of Pakistan

Local language: language of Baluchistan is Balopchi


CURRENT ENVIRENOMENTAL ISSUES:


Water pollution from raw sewerage, industrial wastes,

and agricultural overflow


Limited natural fresh water resources

A majority of the population does not have access to


pure and portable water for drinking


Deforestation: Our forest are reducing day by day due

to theft of trees and timber

 About 60% of Pakistan's total land area is under

cultivation and is watered by one of the largest


irrigation systems in the world That can see at punjnad

 Most important crops of Pakistan are cotton, wheat,

rice, sugarcane, corn, pulses, oil seeds, barley, fruits


and vegetables that we also Export
commodities:
 Our commodities are Garments, bed linen, cotton cloths

and yarn, rice, leather and leather goods, sports goods,


chemicals, carpets and blankets
