    Upon first introducing these questions to a student, the


    teacher will ask the “Who” questions while showing the
    student the pictures with the written word. Kids will advance
    through Level One at differing speeds.

    After demonstrating mastery on Level One, the teacher will


    then ask the “Who” questions while only showing the student
    the written word. Kids will advance through Level Two at
    differing speeds. Kids who are only identifying letter sounds
    can look at the highlighted first letter to prompt them of the
    answer. Non-readers may skip Level Two.

    prompts have been faded through Levels One & Two or
    maybe the student has stronger receptive language skills and
    is beginning on Level Three.
