Doubled Think-
Pair-Share
Doubled Think-Pair-Share
1. Choose someone whom you want to share your notes on your Cornell Notes.

2. After sharing with each other, the two of you will have to look for another pair whom you will be sharing
your sharings to.

3. Now that you are already four in the group, you will now proceed to the Focus Group Discussion.
Focus Group
○Objective: Discussion
What are social stratification and mobility? What are things in/about
them that you can actually see in present society?
○Reflective: If you were to assess, in which of the social classes in the Philippines
are you in? Reflect why do you think so.
○Interpretative: If you were on the lower class of the society, how would you
perceive the idea of having social stratification/mobility in the society?
○Decision-Making: Do you think, it is just for an individual to remain in his social
class from his birth to death? If you were to be asked, what things do you think
one must do to improve his status in an open class system.
Transfer Task
●The group will have to make a concept map that would show how a Filipino citizen can move from one class
to another. The map must feature the ways/opportunities/values on how one could improve the way of his
living.

●The output will be entitled as “Our Ladder to Success.”

●The output will be graded using a rubric entitled “Have You Moved On.”
RUBRIC: Have you Moved On?
