INTRODUCTION
• EWT is the mixture of embedded systems and world wide web (www).
• Installed framework, is utilize broadly useful PCs, for example, work area, contain processors,
programming, input sensors and yield actuators which are all used to the control of a particular gadget.
• The Working standard of Embedded Web System is same as that customary Web demand reaction
frameworks.
• Website pages from the installed framework (server) that are transmit to the Client (Web
program),which executes the Presentation layer (User interface
• Web-capable devices use HTTP standard protocol to take webpages to web pages, and to bring HTML
back to the device from the browser. Required devices, TCP / IP software, embedded web server
software, network interfaces like Ethernet and web pages that will make device-specific GUIs
EMBEDDED WEB TECHNOLOGY-BASICS
• Embedded system
• Embedded web server
• Client server
• HTML and XML
Embedded System
•In embedded system inserted framework is a PC framework witha committed undertaking.
•It has an extensive electrical framework or mechanical framework, frequently with
constant registering framework.
Embedded web server
•Embedded web server software that is built in hardware. Most all network devices had web
servers, which provides a control panel for configure the device.
•Application including internet devices such as measuring instruments, telecommunication
devices.
CLIENT SERVER MODEL
CLIENT:
• It is a logical existence requesting data or for anyaction.
• The client is completely dependent on the server to request
SERVER:
It is a logical existence for the client. The clientlist the request for the client
request and respond to therequest.
HTML
• It stands for Hypertext markup language is a language which is used to
describe web page
• When a web browser receives content that is HTML it will try to render the
content into a web page. Similar to XML,HTML is made up of tags, but
unlike XML, HTML defines -what types of tags are acceptable
XML
• Extensible markup language is a structure for text so that information can
easily stored and transmitted through a web.
• XML is a popular content choice because it is human readable, and translates
easily to other programming languages.
EMBEDDED SOFTWARE
Embedded software is computer software, written to control machines
or devices that are not typically thought of as computers, commonly
known as embedded systems.
• It is typically specialized for the particular hardware that it runs on and
has time and memory constraints.
• This term is sometimes used interchangeably with firmware.
• Advantage of EWT
• The Web browser does not stores the applet permanently.
• Provide output to the remote user in any format.
• User interface software upgrades..
• Applications of EWT
• Traffic monitoring
• Video monitoring
Use of EWT in Traffic Monitoring
• EWT is useful to create a modern eventual traffic control system to reduce
traffic on the road and reduce accidents.
• The Traffic monitoring system contains bus controller and embedded web
server.
• Controller part is for traffic monitoring area and there is a control point
where each control point analyses related to the web server..
• Currently the traffic monitoring system is based on the PChost computer, and
has devised a dedicated monitoring andcontrolling system, but this system is
very costly
Use of EWT in Video Monitoring System
• This modern video monitoring system plays an important role inespecially
military, industry, civilian. The video monitoring system is broadly classified
into analog anddigital video surveillance.Video monitoring system is based
on embedded video system
DISADVANTAGE
The disadvantage of embedded web technology is that it can be more complex
and expensive to develop and deploy than traditional devices.
It requires a constant connection to the internet, which may not be available in
all locations.
