AVR CONTROLS - RAMP ADJUSTMENT

RAMP
 All PMG powered AVR’s have a SOFT START RAMP, which controls the speed
of voltage build up on engine start.

 The MX341 and MA325 AVR’s have a fixed voltage RAMP of 3 - 4 seconds
from engine start-up.

 An adjustable RAMP control is fitted to AVR types MX321, MA327, MA329, & MA330.

 Clockwise rotation of the RAMP control will increase the voltage build up time.

 The RAMP adjustment is factory sealed and set at 3-4 seconds build up time.

 Variable RAMP time can be adjusted from 0.4 seconds, to 4 seconds delay
 Variable RAMP can be used where application requires very rapid on- line supply,
 CAUTION, voltage OVERSHOOT will increase with a faster RAMP speed.
