1. First Angle Projection
- the object is placed above the horizontal plane, in front of the
vertical plane
- look through the object and to the plane of projection
• Hidden lines are used to represent surfaces that are not directly visible
in an orthographic view
HIDDEN LINES
• A small gap should be included between the two types of line – prevent
confusion @ color change
• Show intersections of hidden lines as touching lines, not as open gaps
• Corners should also be shown as touching lines
CENTER LINES
