Heart Matters
Luke 9:57-62

God, and renew a steadfast spirit
within me.”

Personal Reflection
•What are the things you cannot give
up to Jesus?
Always remember
• Ourlife must be focus on what God requires us to do.
His way and not our way.
• Our life must not be determined in lucks but of the
blessings and promises of God.
• God grant us the things we ask in condition that we pass
the requirements of having it.
• God is after our heart and not the things we can do. He
blessed us and continue to bless us but it’s up to us on
how to respond.
Conclusion
• The condition of our heart affects how we view life, determine what
characteristics/attitudes we portray, affects our decisions/choices and
may affect our destiny.
• Many have the capacity but without a heart to serve the Lord.
• Dareto be like David who became a man after God’s own heart for He
knew that in order for him to be more useful in the purpose God had for
him, he needed a changed heart.
• David was not perfect. He sinned. He was an adulterer and a murderer,
but he humbled himself before God. David acknowledged his mistakes,
recognized that he was weak, knew how to step up in challenging
situations, had a strong passion and love for God, and was not afraid of
change.
