SCENARIO OF FASHION IN NEPAL
 Nepal's fashion industry is expanding at a slow rate.
 Despite having a long tradition in the arts, Nepal did not have a very
established fashion industry.
 But surprisingly, the number of fashion boutiques is growing in
Kathmandu, Pokhara, Butwal, Dharan.
 Boutiques are only being the medium to serve the designers designed
clothes for the people of Nepal.
 Nepalese youth is that they are fashionable lot and blend into the
latest trends very quickly.
 So, with increasing demand, Fashion institutions are growing rapidly
so to produce good fashion designers in Nepali fashion market.
 The Fashion Center can be one complete platform and common
destiny to explore creativity of designers and for glamour related
people like film industry, models and all those who love fashion.

 Fashion today has been a matter of major interest to individuals who seek to look
different and fashionable in their own way and capacity. So, it has an effect on
economic development of industry to some extent.

PROJECT  These days youths are interested in fashion industry as their career. Also,
numerous people are travelling abroad to pursue careers in this industry as a
JUSTIFICATION result of the lack of a suitable educational institution and the small size of the
market.
 Fashion designer in Nepal does not have a strong platform to help them develop
their talents and ideas internationally.

 The Fashion Center can be one complete platform and common destiny to
explore creativity of designers and for glamour related people like film industry,
models and all those who love fashion.

to characterize the culture and taste of a specific
population.
 Nepal has a diverse and rich textile heritage, including
native costumes and traditional clothing specific to each
region.
 Hence, Fashion center can play a significant role in
helping them achieve more recognition and importance.
