INTRODUCTION
*Humans are social beings and hardly ever live and work in isolation. We always plan, develop and manage our
relations both consciously and unconsciously.

*The relations are the outcomes of our actions and depend to a great extent upon our ability to manage our
actions.

*From childhood, each and every individual acquires knowledge and experience on understanding others and
how to behave in each and every situation in life. Later, we carry forward these learnings and understandings to
manage relations at our work place.

*The whole context of Human Resource Management (HRM) revolves around this love matter of managing
relations at work place.

*Since mid 1980’s, HRM has gained acceptance in both academic and commercial circles.

*HRM is a multidisciplinary organizational function that draws theories and ideas from various fields such as
management, psychology, sociology and economics.
*Effective HRM depends very much on the cause and condition that an organizational setting would provide.

*Any organization has 3 basic components:

Structure.

*A stock or supply of money, materials, staff, and other assets that can be drawn on by a person or
organization in order to function effectively.

*Human resources is used to describe both the people who work for a company or organization and the
department responsible for managing resources related to employees, who collectively represent one of the
most valuable resources in any business or organization.

*The term ’human resources’ was first coined in the 1960s when the value of labor relations began to garner
attention and when notions such as motivation, organizational behavior, and selection assessments began to
take shape in all types of work settings.

Natural Resource Management
*Environmental resource management is the management of the interaction and impact of human societies
on the environment.

*Environmental resource management tries to identify factors affected by conflicts that rise between
meeting needs and protecting resources.

*It is thus linked to environmental protection, sustainability, integrated landscape management, natural


resource management, fisheries management, forest management, and wildlife management, and others.
Project Resource Management
*The process of planning, organizing, scheduling and managing a project's resources – people, tools,
equipment, tech, and facilities – in the most efficient way. maximizing utilization and ensuring the best
possible use of the project's elements.

Financial Resource Management
*Financial Management means planning, organizing, directing and controlling the financial activities such as
procurement and utilization of funds of the enterprise. It means applying general management principles
to financial resources of the enterprise.
Infrastructure Resource Management
*Infrastructure needs people to design, operate and maintain the systems that will provide the services and
for public elections when dealing with the customers.

*HRM in turn, deals with various requirements of different departments, and the different kinds of people
available, the types of training that may be organized.

*Physical resource and infrastructure management tools are software products that monitor, model and
help manage the physical dimensions of data center infrastructures, such as the IT hardware, cables, power
distribution units, generators, and space.  In addition, they are designed to be used in the day-to-day
operations of data centers by providing change, configuration and asset management capabilities.
Facilities Resource Management
*Facility management (FM) is a profession that encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure functionality,
comfort, safety and efficiency of the built environment by integrating people, place, process and technology.

*Facility managers provide employee support in many ways, including:

Enterprise Asset Management
*Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is a comprehensive solution for providing maintenance management,

industries.

*Increase asset availability by ensuring that necessary maintenance is performed and enable maximum output
from expensive and complex assets.

*EAM supports sophisticated property, plants and public infrastructure.


Public Asset Management
*Public asset management is a comprehensive method to plan, manage, use, and dispose of all public assets
owned by local governments from a management perspective. Public assets owned by local governments are
extensive and diverse, ranging from buildings such as schools, public offices, and community centers to
waterworks and sewer systems.

*Its goal is to optimize the service life of public assets to improve community quality of life and economic
efficiency.

Conclusion

• In today world, the Human Resource Management plays a very significant role in the daily
life. On the one hand, the Soft and Hard Human Resource Management influence on the
business and lets them development rapidly. It can improve employee’s motivation in a
business and pay attention to company’s policy and law respectively, which can increase
the efficiency of company and get higher profits. On the other hand, trade unions help the
employee to achieve negotiation successfully in the early time; it means the employee can
negotiate a better wages and a good working condition. However, at the present, the
employment law gradually becomes the focus in the world, because it has more restrictive
and more favorable to protecting employee’s benefit. In the future, the Human Resources
Management will continue to play its role in each business.
