PATRONES PULMONARES ALVEOLARES

BRONCOGRAMA
AEREO

Shortness of breath and cough productive of green

sputum.
Patient Data
Age:40 yearsGender:Female

On presentation, there is right upper lobe

dense consolidation.
After 1 week, there is persisting consolidation
with initial aeration.
Case courtesy of Dr Jeremy Jones◉ rID: 13553
PATRONES PULMONARES ALVEOLARES

Smoker with chest pain, fever and cough.

Patient Data
Age:55Gender:Male

Solid appearing left upper lobe without collapse

including the lingula with patent bronchi (air
bronchograms). Reactive mediastinal lymph
nodes. Lung is so dense it has the appearnce of
liver - so-called "hepatisation"

PATRÓN NODULAR

Chest x-ray demonstrates extensive patchy

reticulonodular opacities, particularly on the
left. Peripherally at the junction of mid and
upper zones, a parenchymal cavity can be
identified.

PATRÓN NODULAR

Middle aged female with

fever, cough, weight loss and
chest wall lump.

PATRÓN RETICULAR O
LINEAL

Linear interstitial lines in the lung periphery =

Kerley B lines (actually fluid in the interlobular
septa) due to mild pulmonary edema.  Note the
very big heart.

PATRÓN RETICULAR O
LINEAL

Known CHF with multiple exacerbations. Worsening

dyspnea.

VIDRIO
DESLUSTRADO

Diffuse reticular changes bilaterally are similar and compatible with

fibrosis in the setting of scleroderma.
No superimposed consolidation is appreciated. Case courtesy of Dr Bruno Di Muzio◉◈ rID: 45314
PATRÓN RETICULO
NODULAR

Numerous thin-walled air-filled cysts are

scattered at both lung fields
accompanied irregular reticular and
ground glass opacities with peripheral
predominance. Distal esophagus is
dilated.
