    Adjective Order

    Order of Adjectives
     When we use more than one adjective
    before a noun in English, we often put the
    adjectives in a specific order.
     It can sound quite strange if the adjectives
    are in a different order.
    Order of Adjectives
     The order that we generally follow

     1: O pinion
     2: S ize
     3: S hape
     4: A ge ‘OSSACOMP’
     5: C olour
     6: O rigin
     7: M aterial
     8: P urpose

    we can use and when there are two or more


    adjectives of the same type, or when the
    adjectives refer to different parts of the same
    thing:

    It was a blue and green cotton shirt.

    Here are some examples:
     I carried a very small black suitcase.
     They have some old French paintings.
     She was wearing a new red silk dress.
     That is a really ugly wooden chair.
     We bought a new round kitchen table.
     There are some new Chinese students in the
    class.
