annually.
 The external certification program evaluates the
proper functioning of the ICS.
 A certain percentage of the farms are re-inspected
by the external certification program.

 At least thirty (30) farmers with similar production
system/s;

 A defined and documented manual of operation with
legal capacity;
 Average landholding size must be from 3 – 7 has1
 With elected board (governing or board of directors)
with certain degree of homogeneity, that limits the
prevalence of one group or another;
 A clearly defined activity on the production of organic
crops and the marketing of agricultural products;
