What is Telia?
Telia Company AB is a Swedish
multinational telecommunications
company and mobile network operator.
Telia connects businesses, individuals,
families and communities via
communications, technology, information
and entertainment products and services.

Operating in 7 European coutries

With more than 20, 800 employees

2,28 Milion satisfied customers


Telia company has its roots in Sweden
and Finland. But today, it is well-
established in all the Nordic and Baltic
countries. All of its mobile operations in
Eurasia have been divested, including
Moldcell in Moldova which was divested
in the first quarter of 2020. In October
they divested Telia’s stake in Turkcell
Holding.

THE ROAD TO ZERO - CO2 AND
WASTE
Ongoing climate change and unsustainable use of
natural resources is putting both ecosystems and
humanity at great risk. Digitalization can accelerate the
transformation needed to change this course. The time
for forceful action is now. That’s why Telia has
committed to reach zero CO2 and zero waste by 2030.

The zero CO2 ambition focuses on creating a 2022 GOALS 2021 RESULTS
climate- neutral value chain by 2030 while also
enabling our customers to reduce their
greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The work
toward zero waste focuses on operations including
network construction and maintenance, while
enabling a circular economy through their
offerings. To further concretize the 2030 goals,
they have set more detailed goals to
be reached by 2022 as well as science-based
targets to be reached by 2025. Achieving these
goals will require the involvement of all
employees. The road to zero includes working
across the value chain to promote rapid trans-
formation.
