Kalimat Aktif (Active Voice) adalah kalimat yang subjeknya
melakukan pekerjaan.
Contoh: Dia mencari, Kami menunggu, Mereka mengundang,
dan sebagainya.

Kalimat Pasif (Passive Voice) merupakan kalimat yang

subjeknya dikenai pekerjaan.
Contoh: Dia dicari, Kami ditunggu, Mereka diundang, dan lain-
lain.
 Attention :
1. The Future Continuous Tense Is for Action Verbs
Only. It is important to note that the future
continuous tense is only used with action verbs,
because it is possible to do them for a duration.
(Action verbs describe activities like running,
thinking, and seeing. Stative verbs describe states of
existence, like being, seeming, and knowing). To use
the will + be + present participle construction with a
stative verb would sound very odd indeed.
 DEFINITION
Future Continuous Tense In Passive Voice is a work or event
that will be happening in the future in the form of passive
sentences (voices).

• The future continuous (passive) in English is very,
very formal and is rarely used. This tense is
basically archaic.
• Passive Voice pada tenses ini tidak umum
digunakan dalam percakapan sehari-hari.
• Future continuous – passive
• There are several reasons as to why we use the
passive voice in English. In these notes, we’re going
to focus on the future continuous in the passive
voice and its elaborations. Generally, we use the
passive when the focus is on the action and NOT on
WHO or WHAT is performing the action.

• (2) We use the passive to emphasise the subject.
• Maria and Joseph will be being taken care of by
their auntie during the Christmas holidays.

(3) We use the passive to talk about general truths.
• The laws of physics will be being used by all
scientists.
•
• (4) We can use the passive if we want to be unclear
or vague about the subject.
• New arrivals will be being delivered to their new
homes upon arrival this evening.
•
(5) We use the passive when the subject is irrelevant.
(We don’t care who or what has caused the action to be).
• Plants all across Europe will be being built over the
course of the next five years.

• (6) We use the passive in a more formal atmosphere
like a thesis or an important piece of writing, especially
scientifically speaking.
• By the time the oxygen levels reach their highest point
the related substances will be being inserted into the
mix.

 EXAMPLE

1. (Active) : I shall be writing a short story if you come to my house at 4

o`clock this afternoon.
(Passive) : A short story will be being written by me if you come to my
house at 4 O`clock this afternoon.
2. (Active) : They will be learning english at 9 o`clock next Monday.
(Passive) : English will be being learned by them at 9 o`clock next
Monday.
3. (Active) : He will be waiting for you at 8 o`clock this morning
(Passive) : You will be being waited by her at 8 o`clock this morning
EXAMPLE :
They will be reading the books- if Mr. John has come (Mereka baru akan membaca buku-buku itu
kalau pak John sudah datang)
He will be repairing your computer- if you've been at there (Dia baru akan memperbaiki
computermu kalau kamu sudah berada di sana)
Arya will be presenting her thesis tomorrow (Arya baru akan mempresentasikan tesis-nya besok)
He will be preparing his application letter on Monday next week (Dia baru akan mempersiapkan
surat lamaran pekerjaannya Senin minggu depan)

Contoh passive:
The books will be being read by them- if Mr. John has come (Buku-Buku itu baru akan mereka baca
kalau pak John sudah datang)
Your computer will be being repaired by him- if you've been at there (Komputermu baru akan dia
perbaiki kalau kamu sudah berada di sana)
Arya's thesis will be being presented by her tomorrow (Tesis-nya Arya baru akan dia presentasikan
