• OBJECTIVE
[5] Parking System that solves the MILP (Mixed Integer Linear Program)
The system assigns and reserves an optimal parking space for a driver based
on the user's requirements
This approach solves a Mixed Integer Linear Program (MILP) problem at
each decision point in a time-driven sequence.
Implementation issues including parking detection, reservation guarantee
and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) or Infrastructure-to-Vehicle (I2 V)
communication are resolved in the paper.
• COMPONENTS OF PROPOSED SYSTEM
Visual Studio
Proteus
Arduino IDE
Blynk Application
Methodology:
Block Diagram:
The Arduino codes are compiled and fed to the Arduino using Arduino IDE. Codes of
Nodmcu ESP8266 wifi module are compiled in Arduino IDE and fed to the chip.
dot net (.NET) framework of visual basic programming language (vb.net) was installed
in visual studio with which form mode template was designed.
A timer and serial port was set up for the serial and periodic communication between the
desktop and the microcontroller.
For mobile implementation, we used Blynk application where widgets and tabs were set
for interfacing which was then connected to the WIFI Module
Hardware Implementation
Hardware components mentioned above are assembled and 6 IR
output pins are connected to Arduino pins 4,5,6,7,8 and 9.
All the GCC are merged and connected to GCC of Arduino.
And VCC of the sensors are merged to connect with VCC of Arduino.
Pin 2 and 3 are connected to Nodmcu Wifi Module.
