PROJECT SUMMARY
A child's reading skills are important to their
success in school as they will allow them to access
the breadth of the curriculum and improve their
communication and language skills. On the other
hand, most of the youth need enhancement in
reading to improve their skills. Giving them the
comprehensive type of learning will help them to
understand it well.
Comprehensive Reading Enhancement
Program is project that will be implemented in
the out of school youth of barangay Sto. Niño,
Naujan Oriental Mindoro. The collaboration
between teachers and students will provide the
students to enhance their reading skills.
PROJECT
BACKGROUND
The ability to comprehend is crucial because it
ensures that what is spoken is understood. It makes
reading more enjoyable, gratifying, and enjoyable.
Individuals need understanding to return to school, at
employment, and in life overall.
This program aims to address every
participant's reading problem in a certain community
or school. It is essential to address learners' reading
comprehension in order to assist them in reading
more rapidly in accordance with their age bracket.
They will improve their pronunciation, vocabulary,
and familiarity with English primarily with idioms,
and conversational phrases as a result of this. In our
institution, for example, some students' reading
habits are not properly supervised by their parents.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
This project aims to:
1. To educate the learners the value of reading with comprehension.
2. To help them improve their reading skills when they are not in
school
3. To put reading comprehension into practice in real-life
circumstances.
PROJECT
METHODOLOGY
⬥ The teachers and students will work
together on this project in a
modular/collaborative manner. The
teachers will supply instructional
materials that will be provided to each
student on a weekly basis (preferably
Saturday).

MONITORING AND
EVALUATION
The teachers will keep in touch with the parents of the participants and
visit them in their houses occasionally. Teachers should provide two types of
evaluations: one for teachers to evaluate student performance and one for
students to provide feedback on the completed assignment.
