Background:
Einstein was born in Germany.
His family moved from
Wurttenberg to Munich.

Education:

Trained as a teacher in physics and mathematics in


Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich.
Breakdowns in life:

•In one Physics practical, he recorded the


lowest mark.
•He failed in an entrance exam in Swiss Federal
Institute of Technology that would suppose to
lead him to a degree in Electrical Engineering.
•He may have been a genius and leading light in the
world of physics, but Einstein was a dismal failure at
relationships. He left behind a trail of broken marriages
and affairs in pursuit of his first love - science.

Breakthroughs in life

•He formulated the Special Theory of Relativity.


He stated that matter and energy are
interchangeable, through the E=mc2, and that
the small amount of mass is equivalent to a
large amount of energy.

EFFECT: Concept of Nuclear energy was born


•He formulated the Quantum Theory. It is the is
the theoretical basis of modern physics that
explains the nature and behavior of matter and
energy on the atomic and subatomic level.
