CCS Troubleshooting
ISSUE:
Incorrect Date and Time
SOLUTION:
1. Make sure the transmission device is already connected
before turning on of the CCS laptop.
2. If no.1 did not work, click the settings icon and select
SETTING DATE and TIME
3. Contact the NTSC for the OTP and adjust the date and
time.
4. Refer to Contingency procedures

ISSUE:
X Election Not Activated/Unable to Initialize
SOLUTION:
1. Check the date and time and the information of CCS
2. Perform Initialization/Master Switch
3. Insert the USB tokens are properly inserted
4. Check the usernames and token passwords entered are
correct
5. Refer to Contingency procedures

CCS Troubleshooting
ISSUE:
The CCS screen freeze
SOLUTION:
1. Click the chrome browser icon to close and click
again the chrome browser icon to re-launch the system
2. Try to shutdown or reboot the laptop properly
3. Refer to Contingency procedures

ISSUE:
No transmission received
SOLUTION:
1. Make sure the CCS is connected to the electoral
network and click REFRESH icon
2. Make sure the transmission device is properly inserted
(repeat step no.1)
3. If the main transmission device is not working, replace
with backup trans. Device (or other TD peripherals)
4. Refer to Contingency procedures

ISSUE:
The COC cannot be generated
SOLUTION:
1. Make sure 100% of transmission is received
2. If not, Lowering of Threshold must be executed
3. Canvass Report is already generated
4. Refer to Contingency procedures

Cannot Lower Threshold
SOLUTION:
1. Call the NTSC for the generated password and
instructions on how to execute it properly
2. Make sure the password entered is correct
3. Refer to Contingency procedures or call NTSC for
technical assistance

ISSUE:
Backup process unsuccessful
SOLUTION:
1. Perform the Canvassing procedure first
2. Make sure the CD is inserted. If not working, use the
backup CD
3. Refer to Contingency procedures

Main CCS failed
SOLUTION:
1. Eject the backup SD card properly by using the
EXTRACT icon
2. Insert the SD card into the contingency laptop and
click RECOVERY under Settings icon in the taskbar
3. Call NTSC for the OTP and follow the instructions on
the screen
4. Refer to Contingency procedures

Main CCS failed
SOLUTION:
1. Eject the backup SD card properly by using the
EXTRACT icon
2. Insert the backup SD card into the contingency laptop
and click RECOVERY under Settings icon in the
taskbar
3. Call NTSC for the OTP and follow the instructions on
the screen

Corrupted USB tokens
SOLUTION:
1. Click on TOKEN RECOVERY icon under the Settings
icon in the taskbar
2. Call NTSC for the OTP
3. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen
